"Based on these ideas, the selection of works proposed in this publication aims to contribute to music education through violin practice, conceived from a technical and interpretative perspective that acknowledges the diverse resources that the instrument offers for interpreting traditional music. While there is a vast amount of material that could be included in this work, the goal is to recognize melodies that have been part of the Colombian and Latin American repertoire. Some of these melodies are highly renowned, while others are more regional, but all of them encapsulate a deep sense of belonging and contribute to the musical richness of Latin America."
